Dear Triplets,
I woke up this morning feeling very sad. Today your Mommy is 33 years old and there are no signs of you coming anytime soon :-( I soooo wanted to test this morning and see a BFP but since I wasn't temping I don't even know if I o'd any at all. Your father and I have anther appointment with Dr. S on Thursday so we'll see how that goes. If Dr. S can't find you there, she's going to induce my period so that I can start a new cycle and schedule my HSG.
I'm soooo praying that you're in there somewhere just waitingt o be found. I know its very unlikely since my body feels the same except for the waves of nausea every now and then.
I remain yours always.

Ginger sweets
Dear Triplets,
Tomorrow will be 2 weeks since I went to a new OB. Dr. S is great, I really like her! During my consultation she told me that based on what I have told her she is almost sure that I have PCOS. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS is a condition in which there is an imbalance of a woman's female sex hormones. This hormone imbalance may cause changes in the menstrual cycle, skin changes, small cysts in the ovaries, trouble getting pregnant, and other problems. I'll write about PCOS another time. She also requested copies of the b/w and ultrasound that I did before and ordered a semen analysis for Daddy (to check to see that the swimmers are okay) and and HSG for me (to check to see if my tubes are blocked.
Well, last week I got the copies of the tests and on Monday I made Daddy's appointment for next week. I tried to make my appointment but the receptionist at the lab toldme that I have to call back on the first day of my period (CD1). Today is CD65 which means that my last period was May 10th.
Last night I brought back up my dinner and I've been nauseous all day......to the point where I had to walk to the pharmacy to get ginger sweets. I think I'm going to have to call Dr. S for an opinion of what to do about my period.
All that being said, I feel confident with Dr. S and feel like I'm so much closer to seeing and holding you.

Jesus take the wheel, pleeeeease
Jesus take the wheel! when depression hits, when desperation soars, when I feel like I can't go any more, when I struggle to be a good mother to Bran, when Miguel and I are at odds, when I'm afraid that I'll never have a child of my own, when I seek out a new OB and hopefully try another plan of action in this TTC journey, please take the wheel and drive for me and give me PEACE!

Infertility sucks!!!
Dear Triplets,
This past weekend was Father's Day...it was a nice enough day but kinda sad that your Daddy and I couldn't celebrate his being Daddy of his own biological child :( . To add insult to injury I found out that one of my cousins is pregnant (by accident) and is currently unemployed. My Auntie was so distressed by it...imagine me trying to cheer her up when all I could think about is how UNFAIR life is...that she gets pregnant without even thinking about it, has no means to take care of the child and your Daddy and I have been trying to get pregnant for over a year now with no success. Today I think I'm going to call a few OBs and make appointments for next week. Your daddy and I are still praying about it and we hope that by next week we will know for sure who God is leading us to and cancel the others.
Think I need to tak to you Auntie Aneika today too and get her opinion.
Hoping to met you in another few months.
Love,
Mommy.

Option #3
Dear Triplets,
A few nights ago your Daddy and I had a very long talk about my TTC issuesand we came up with 3 options:
1. Waiting a couple weeks until to see if I will ovulate on my own and then going back to my OB;
2. Scheduling an appointment to see my OB and insist on upping the dosage;
3. Scout around for a new OB who will ultimately give better oversight of an agreed plan of action and who will be willing to up the dosage or offer alternatives.
Well, I bet you guessed that we decided to go with option 3. Daddy was very clear about his discomfort with the kind of support and attention I am currently getting from my OB...and I think he's getting a little impatient too. So that's where we are right now...
It's been a long hard year and so far I've only ovulated 1 time and my OB doesn't seem perturbed that the meds I'm on are NOT working...ugh, sooo frustrating.
So we have come up with four potential candidates (2 males and 2 females) and I'm praying for wisdom about how to decide which one we're going to go with. For some reason just making that decision to go with option #3 has lifted my spirits and given me hope that very soon I'll be looking at pics of you and listening to your heartbeat and feeling you wriggle inside me.
Can't wait to meet you.
Love,
Your Mommy.

Congratulations....you have "sun"
Dear Triplets,
The sun came out today after almost 2 weeks for rain that caused landslides, road destruction and some near death experiences. It's sooooo good to look outside and not see grey. It is also good for another very important reason. Today your grandmama is being honoured at special retirement function...so I leave work in about an hour to go home get ready and then take the 1 and a half hour journy to be there. Kool huh?
Oh, by the way Garfield's ship has been re-routed to Dubai. Guess we'll hear from him once he docks.

Dear Triplets,
I woke up on Saturday to a text from your Uncle Garfield. He's the youngest of us and the most adventerous one. He left 2 weeks ago to join his ship in Singapore. He's a marine navigator on a Belgian LNG tanker and loving it. So he was docked in Bintulu, Malaysia and should be on his way to India by now. You're gonna love him.
Your other Uncle is a student pastor in his final year. Right now he's assigned to a church in Montego Bay. He's the one who will play with you, make funny faces and voices and do arts and crafts with you.
You have a pretty great family waiting here to meet you (some impatiently), so know that you are already loved.
This past weekend was rainy. The weather service says that there is a low pressure system that has the potential to develop into a tropical cyclone. It has been raining non-stop for the past 6 or so days and we are praying that it eases up soon becuase the earth is saturated. Hopefully the sun will come out and dry some of this water up but it IS the hurricane season so you never know.
